great looking work with that sprue rigging.  Turnbuckles, even.
I can't get sprue to stretch evenly and consistently to save my life!

RAGIII,
It looks like your bench time has been well spent.

Thanks Kevin!

Hitting the middle on that H strut ain't easy...you just make it look that way.

Not as difficult as the next wires  ::)  Thanks for the comment!

Thanks Ken. As for stretching the sprue evenly I don't do too badly but I do eliminate about half of what I actually stretch. Then I usually let about half of that accidentally slip from the tweezers to the carpet while trying to add it to the airframe  :o

Stretched sprue us always too thin in the middle and too thick at the ends, but there are a couple sections on each pull that are usable. On a 24-30 inch pull, I can usually harvest a couple of usable sections 6-8 inches long from either side of the middle. Plenty usable in 1/72 and most 1/48 single seaters. You also get the advantage of being able to use noticeably thinner line for the control cables. You have to be ruthless in throwing out unusable pieces, otherwise you will be tempted to use them rather than stopping to make more once you get on a roll rigging.

Stretching sprue to that length consistently takes some skill and patience Rick. Cracking stuff - good luck with the continuation of this project.

Thanks Carl! It has been a Frustrating week. I just seem to be unable to get any more wires mounted properly. Put them down and worked on figures today. I will go back to them in a few days and try to push through  :(
