Bound to need a bit of touch up should work. I have no idea about correct colours but red would much better against the base coat. You need to convince Mrs G that you must have an early birthday present! ;)

I doubt she will be agreeable for a while. I have to take a trip to California on the 17th for My Sons Wedding in Folsom! An unexpected cost  8) It is a good thing that at least these numbers were correctly sized!

RAGIII,
Fine job on the mask for the number. What material did you use?

Thanks Kevin. It was Tamiya tape, double layer for strength, placed on a board. Then the copy of the decal was taped over the Tamiya tape. I cut them by hand using a straight edge when possible. The wing number was totally done by hand.

Thanks Terri! I thought the one on the upper wing would be the hardest but it turned out to be fairly easy!

Considering that those number masks were cut by hand I think that you can give yourself a very large pat on the back. Now I know who to turn to if I should need some letters/number masks cut in future....!

Thanks Stephen, Not sure I am the Mask Master but if things are sized right I can Muddle My way through  ::)

Today I ran a test on the Years Old Hobby Craft Decals( Thanks Mike Norris). The results were great so I went ahead with applying the Stork, Roundels, and rudder decals. I Must Say that I am Impressed with them. Opaque, adhere to detail, and tough!

PS: I am also pleased with the Match of red on My numbers to the roundels!

Thanks Bob. Just need to apply the blue center and then seal all of the decals and paint work.

Good job on the painting mask, Rick.
The red color does look like a good match with the decals.
This one's coming together nicely.
