Nice job on those details Rick  :)

Terri

Thanks Terri. I am going to finish the other two today. Then I will do all of the touch up. After that it will be the Seats, seatbelts, and instruments.

I don't see how you keep going Rick. Once I get done with a section of a model like a cockpit or engine, I'm ready to move on to something else. Last thing i want to do is repeat the same process two more times. I tried a triple build of Breguet Br.14s, one is still sitting on the shelf of Doom.

Hi Rick!  This is a fascinating build, and I guess a good way to get to things you might otherwise put off (by doing them simultaneously--no excuses once you've committed ;D).  All the pain at once! ;)  I admire your patience and perseverance.  The modeling is top notch too, as your triple cockpits demonstrate.  Well done!

Best regards,

Bob

Thanks SP. Some things are done at the same time, like the compass for instance. The positive thing is that the first is the hardest. After that one the others "usually" go much faster as I have learned the process.

Thanks Bob! Yes if I built just one the other two would probably remain in the stash forever...if not Longer  ::)

Lovely detailing Rick, despite the untidy work bench you are being so organised and methodical. Really impressive!

Finished up the added details on the other two right fuselage halves this Morning. Thanks for the comments, very encouraging!

Todays session: All three interiors are pretty much done. Next up will be three seats and all of the seat belt/buckles. One fuselage is assembled.

Looking real good Rick. Those look like pretty decent kits. You've handled the interiors very cleanly, too bad Spads have such tight cockpit openings. I am enjoying following your progress and learning.

Thanks SP! The Hobby Craft kits are far more basic than WNW but they really aren't bad at all. If one compares they are enlarged versions of the Old Dragon 1/48th kits with the PE parts eliminated. My Main Challenge still lies ahead with the struts and rigging  ::)

I'm sure you noticed the map I put in my SPAD XIII is of the exact spot where MvR fell
