All coming along nicely here.

That hammer is one of the parts that made my 'stop right there!' alarm go off, so my XIII hasn't got one. I notice in the pictures it is connected to a cable, and that there is a cable that goes to the rip off panel on the bottom of the main tank. I wonder if that is the same cable?

All looking very impressive, very neatly painted. Pipework looks great, how neat is your bench now Rick? ;)

Thanks Richard. I didn't go as far as trying to shape the handle or the head on the hammer. Just a couple of different sizes of rod glued together. Really won't be seen that much once all is assembled. I will be working on a simple solution to make it look like something is holding the Hammer in place today, as well as the control stick. Then on to the fuselage side detailing  8) At least that is the plan!

Thanks Richie. I will see if I can get a shot of the "Desk" up today  ;D

Haha, that's a brilliant work space. "Untidier than mine!" I just told Mrs W. She didn't agree. We just spent an hour looking for a small SE5a part, the wood splinters from my propeller whittling caused many oaths to be sworn. ;)

Great progress in the Spad factory (didn't know there was one here in NC).  Doing the research on the different variations makes for interesting going.

The far most important tool on the bench seems to be the dark glass bottle on the right side ;D Do not confuse the bottle with thinner!

Cheers,

Nice work!

I do my modelling on the kitchen table, so I'm forced to clean things up every time I stop modelling! :P

The first of the three right fuselage halves is almost done. Some touch up and tweaking needed. I have added the Map and holder and bracing wires. Need to do Smoke and Mirrors turnbuckles on the wires. Cockpit floor is resting in place...Like Me  ::)
