Your DR1 is really coming along quite well! The under surface and tail plane painting is terrific!

Hello,
I had to slow down a bit due to the multitude of professional duties and homework.
I did a camouflage sample and I have questions.
Do the colors match or do you need to use darker, stripes and color transitions are ok? And most importantly, how much time can Abteilung paints dry? I've never painted with pure oils. Do not pay attention to lichen fingerprints :P, I check if it has dried up. Painted on a Thursday afternoon. :)

It looks as though you have the basics of the method under control. From here I would look at photos and see if you think your results bear a resemblance to what you see on the original?  For instance, is their clear doped linen that shows through the olive color? Again I think yours looks great.

RAGIII,
Thank you for the hints, but the colors I used are too vivid. This is the case of dealing with tanks during modulations and not paying much attention to the quality of the surface, where all the imperfections could be hidden under pigments, filters, etc. where the colors darken significantly after such operations.
Time wondering how much time Abteilung dries. Works will go quickly when I test it.

Hello,
Work is progressing.
The first main color already applied. Tomorrow light shading a little darker.
Strange that the pictures show different colors and in fact they are the same. Maybe because the pictures taken are a telephone.

The streaking is taking shape nicely! Looking forward to the next step!

PS: Looking again the upper cowling deck should be solid Olive and Not streaked Like the fabric areas. It is your choice if it is worth correcting of course. I Hope this Helps.

Hi all
Thank you for your interest and your tips and suggestions.
They helped me make the right decisions. Overall, the model is very tactile and irritating, but it must be done. Improved painting of the upper cover only the one above the fuel tank. I had to improve the painting of the axle wing from above and I still have to paint from below. The colors seem appropriate to me and I will not change it anymore. Soon I will put pictures with 4 colors that I came up with on the upper surfaces.

Hello,
Promised pictures. Judge for yourself. I personally like the test model. The colors may be a little vivid but darken when I use the filters.

A very colorful scheme as you have interpreted it.  The streaked camo scheme is a difficult one.

Hi, interpretation is in my case suggesting Aviattic decals and Fokker diagrams from the 1/48 scale eduard instructions. Mostly diagrams from Eduard's instructions.
