Yes!

I've preordered mine (seaplane version) from local hobby shop. 10% discount on preorder and another 10% for another promo, and no delivery costs, quite a bargain  ;) :D

Waiting for it!

That is a deal Andrew.

I enjoy purchasing directly from WNW, but the shipping can be quite expensive.

Looks like these are now in stock at the WNW website and also Sprue Brothers in America.

I'm on the fence about this one.  It's definitely interesting and impressively big without being so large that it is impossible to display.

But it's also kind of weird!

I think Sprue Brothers is still at the pre-order stage.  I'm waiting for my UWD from Section 8 Hobbies.

Mine arrived this morning :)

That is unfair!  ;)
It is unfair that some resides so close to the source!  :D

But seriously, how is the kit? When I Halberstadt fell into my hands, I had a feeling that "sharpness" of kit elements is worse than in earilier WNW releases. Could you comment on it with respect to Gotha?

Many thanks, Justin, for your time and this extensive information.
Looking at the photos of completed Bugan's model in WNW site I indeed noticed the "fattish" look of engine control rods. The rib tapes - interesting, now I see it, too. But in the info on the kit, WNW clearly state 'Fine in scale rib tape detail', as usually in their kits descriptions. I hope they did their homework here, as we grew to expect from them.
And yes, it is that light grey plastic making the "softish" impression that stroke me so much in Ha;berstadt sprues. Let us hope it disappeares when elements are assembled and painted - both, here and on Halberstadt.
Once more - many thanks. I hope to have my Gotha in 2 weeks, however the post tracking system still does not see my parcel... :(

How big is the box?

Is it the Felixstowe size?

With reference to the "thin lines" being referred to on the wings of the Gotha G.1, keep in mind that this is an early war aircraft and the Germans used batons on many of their early war aircraft, such as the Fokker Eindeckers and other such period aircraft.  If I'm not mistaken, French aircraft, such as the Caudron G.3 had batons instead rib tape, too.  Bottom line: there is no reason to think that WNW have begun to slip in their research.  I would imagine the look you see is accurate.
