That is a project!
You hit the point in quality and time
I have strong doubt, that my Cl.II in 1/48 will look like this, so the kit is going in the stash some levels (also called priority) deeper ...
Cheers,
Frank

Thank you very much!
the Halberstadt looked a little lonely without a base, so i added one and set the fantastic CSM trio uparmoring an attack plane next to her. I really love these figures. I painted them in Bavarian blue as Schlasta 26b was a Bavarian unit and Bavarian aircrew wore blue instead of black. They wear their drillich tunics over their uniforms, I think. I used Jon Smith resin heads instead of the CSM heads to give each figure an individual touch.
I was honored with a gold medal at the recent Fürstenbeld Bruck Model show.
Best regards
Andreas

Excellent build! Nice finished scene, too.

The base and figures are a spectacular addition to a magnificent model Andreas, lovely finishing touch! I can particularly appreciate this work as I am presently laboring away at the same one in Schlasta 21 dress! I can only hope for results even close to this!
Cheers,

That is most certainly a gold medal-worthy model Andreas! Spectacular and the figures really bring it to life.
Your model work is always an inspiration to us and your Halberstadt is a real gem.
cheers

Many congratulations on your richly deserved win Andreas. That is a truly spectacular model, made all the more so by the base and figures.

A very outstanding and super built model. I had the honour to see it in the original.
Also the figures, first-class work.
