Thank you very much for your kind words Terri, Rick, Juan, Frank, Steve, Alistair and Manni. I really appreciate them!

Although my modelling time is cut due to recent events, things make progress:

The kit goes together wonderfully. There are no issues at all yet.
Best regards
Andreas

The weathering tones down the colors appropriately.  The finish looks very good, Andreas.

Ken has written exactly what I think. This is another example of your inspirational modelling.

Andreas, your Halberstadt looks great so far, and it seems, that you will win the race against the running countdown! 8)
I really like the color of your rubber tyres. What color do you use for that rubber?

Cheers,
Frank

Thank you all very very much!

Time is running out and finally I finished this bird – still just in time. The Halberstadt Cl. II and IV were always one of my most favored planes and until this day I never managed to finish one (I started once a 1/72 resin kit and the Mirage 1/48 one). So I am really happy to show you one in the context of honoring Des and Adrienne for what they have given to the modelling community.

WNW's Halberstadt Cl. II is a great kit that was done almost out of the box except from Tarnstoff cookie decals from Aviattic, a PE gun barrel for the 1917 Parabellum from Master, seat belts from HGW, some Taurus resin bits for the Mercedes and a hand carved wooden prop. I really enjoyed the build in spite of many many obstacles, none of which had anything to do with the kit or the mentioned aftermarket products. One day I'll add a base and maybe some figures. But now it's time for holidays...

Best regards
Andreas

Beautiful in all respects. I'm truly impressed by your painting - such a challenging scheme - the weathering - just right and the details - machine gun, propeller etc. Just fantastic all round!!! Congratulations Andreas!

Cheers
Alistair
