I am working with the oil and fuel tanks but I am having problems trying to figure how they were attached to the fuselage. Photos, drawings or educated guesses are welcome... $:-\$

There are so many builds in this section that I have missed this one until now. However I have just read through your thread and am extremely impressed with the work that you have done so far - top class in every way. I shall make sure that I drop in more frequently in future - tis is an exciting build, not to be missed.
