Thanks guys (and gal) for the nice comments!

After fixing some details here and there and with a couple of layers of Gunze Surfacer applied, I can say that the wing is finished.

I only have to add the openings for the struts, but I need the fuselage first.

Talking about the fuselage......

I think you have achieved something very special!! Perfect wing and the fuselage should be a bit easier. Im guessing brass struts will be in order to support the wing.

Thanks guys, I am glad you like the wing.

@Steve: I decided to start the build with the wing for that reason. If the results weren't as I expected I would not have wasted much time. The build should be easier from now (famous last words.... :D)

Yes, I am planning to use brass struts and tubes of different sizes not only to support the wing but also for the landing gear and rigging posts.

Here is a photo of some the brass sets I am planning to use.

The "Strutz" set is particularly useful for landing gear and wing struts, because of its streamlined profile. I do not if it is still available I bought several sets from Aeroclub (UK) years ago.

Pretty much what Mark said  :) The wing is just breath taking  8)

No you can't get the Strutz and more . Maybe ebay or another source online but they are no longer around .

Thanks Steve, James, Terri.

A quick update.

Work kept me away from the workbench for the last couple of weeks, but I found some time to advance with the fuselage completing its main components:

With the fuselage ready, I started to work in the cockpit interior parts: oil/fuel tanks, seats, control column....

Comments, suggestions, critics all welcome.
