All my 10 minute jobs take 90 Bob,never mind,we do it to relax don't we?

Except when the carpet monster manages to gobble so many small pieces in such short order that we forget that we were supposed to be doing this to relax....

Keep up the good work Bob.

To my loyal followers, I thank you  :)

Well, you wanted updates and I'm all obliging to give them.
So, today I'm doubling down!

Two wings nailed on. Work will follow on small items. Mainly the eyelets that went PING! Painting Prop with numerous shades of oil paint and touch ups.

I can see a speck of light at the end of the tunnel and I'm hopeful the old girl will be completed before the end of October, nay, SHE will be going to the Prom come the end of October.

Carry on...

That's okay Bob  , commercial breaks are loud . I need a refill anyway , and that alone can take me some time  :o
Looking fab as the wings increase . How are you going to do the rigging that pass through the leading edge of the middle wing ?

Terri

Hi Terri,
Wingnuts have made this part super easy. There is a cutout on the leading edge for the wires to pass over. Once installed I will need to fashion a piece of nano fabric to close off said cutout.
All being well I should have Mr Triple finished in time! YAY!

She's looking fine, Bob.  I believe i can see the rigging notches in the leading edge of the middle wing.

The power of 3  :D

Rigging, mild weathering (only scored 2 victories in this kite) and then the race to the finish line.

Cheers!

P.S the block of Styrofoam nailed on the top deck is a field modification  ;D
