Hello Terry;
I scratched it with a very fine airbrush needle. Very small scratches. The spicy aspect is because of the mastic balls that made it. Not sure that she is resistant to cooking or painting.

The son's head is strange ... but fortunately very small. My first head for the son was too big. I have done it several times but I can not do better.
