Thanks Filip, It's too bad so many other fine relics have been destroyed or just disappeared over the years. When I think about the nearly two dozen Fokker DVII's we had in Canada after the war and their fate in the junk yards I shake my head, national treasures realised too late!

I've just been through this build and its fantastic - I love the worn paint effects on the Alu parts!

Also the template/jig for the struts is a fantastic idea!

Somehow I managed to miss this build all together :-\ Im glad I found it eventually - some great ideas and certainly fine modelling ;) Well, now Im hooked :D

I'm a bit late to weigh in here, Lance, but I agree with the others. Your Snipe is looking fantastic! As Bo said, the distressed paint on the fuselage underside looks great!

    Here She is done as of late yesterday. Other then the poor fit of the upper engine panel and "turtle deck", entirely my fault, I'm pretty happy with the results. More photos on Completed Models momentarily.
