Thank you all for your kind comments! And yes, i try to choose moments between the gusts of wind when photographing the model on the edge of the balcony :)

Some progress after the last pics. Now the generators etc. have been added and the extensive plumbing for the radiators. I also painted the roundels (the red dots are of the courtesy of surplus japanese ww2 hinomarus!). I will leave a lots of the minor details; control horns, armament and even the rudders to wait, until I have done most of the rigging. So much turning the big model around  in different positions to be done during the tedious process, that I am sure I would snap them many times in the process.

I can't believe I missed this one.

I think this is my favorite among all the shelf queens.

Nice to see the use of Isotta-Fraschini engines in a model.

That is seriously impressive Skyhook.  You motivate me to try a full scratch build project myself.  I particularly like your radiators.  Nicely done!

It is indeed amazing. And what's more amazing is the fact that it is going to be rigged!!
