Not a hell of a lot of progress this weekend ( yard work ) but I was able to get the gun mount button up . I made this out of scraps of plastic and metal . It's not perfeft , but it will pass the build . Not an easy item to scratch in this scale . Last of the items left is pinning the struts andadding a bit of detail then it is off too painting !

Terri,
I know how the yard work routine goes. You never want to get behind on that. Good to see you
were able to make some progress. I've had about 5 cm of rain in the last day and half. I was
able to stay at the model bench more than the garden.

Hi Terri!
Gun ring is beautiful to see, you've done a good work.
Think that I should scratchbuild it in 72nd scale...
Great!

I've been catching up a little and I have to say that your work on that gun ring is both beautiful and inspiring! Well done indeed!

Nicely done Terri! The ring gun mount looks great, as I said before. You do amazing work in this scale!

That gun ring is tops Terri. That was not easy to make but it is as good as many aftermarket parts.

The gun ring is nicely done, looks like a railing for the gunner 8) Oh this is not a ship? It will be interesting, how the gun will be connected.
And the full PE set in the picture background will bring many details in this build ;)

Cheers
Frank

Hi Stephen , not sure about it being as good as any after market , but thank-you very that kind complete  ;)

Frank , you will be disppionted some what . The PE in the back ground is Tom's Model Work PE German WW1 gun set in 48 scale . I have a few of these sets and in the British WW 1 guns . Have you tried these before ?
