George , nice haul ! Meng kits are ...well just awesome . Have two of their Me-410 , heavy fighter and bomber version .

Nothing new in the WW 1 but I did pick up Revell's newly tooled Fw-190 F in 32 scale . Trumpeters P-51B in 32 scale , Tamiya's He-219 A7 in 48 scale and Revell's Bf-109 F-4 in 48 scale .

Got a nice package from Aviattic today. The Legends set with Frank Luke Figure and decals, plus a couple of other unexpected items, the Gaspatch 11mm Vickers, and the SPAD XIII balloon Wheels. Thanks Richard!

Very nice, Des. I'm looking forward to seeing you build some armour! :)

I've started on the Takom Whippet. It goes together quite easily in a few days and there's no rigging! ;D  It's all in the painting and weathering.

James,
The Decals and Book are awesome and the figure is superb. Very clean casting and the details are excellent. The pour blocks are also easier to remove than some of the previous figures. Really Outstanding package!  ;D

Well Des, Like the others I am certainly looking forward to seeing you build this one! I am wondering if it will be straight off the assembly line or used ?

That's a good question. As we know, Des' builds are usually very clean, but a tank begs to be weathered.

I'm undecided on that one, tanks look great weathered so I may have to lean that way.

Des, if you want to go "clean", you can build the Whippet as it appears in the Bovington Tank Museum. :)

I happen to know we have several "World Class" AFV Modellers here, perhaps Chris or Gary could provide a basic Tutorial on Weathering Techniques for AFV's to you adventurers........ ;)
