Nice work there! Streaking is looking great
Steaking is very nice Rick!
Rick, your streaking looks good! Not that easy to get it right, and I know that because I'm doing the same now Which Tamiya paint you use for CDL? For the Fokker I like to have a less yellow, more greenish and your shade looks like that (ok, camera, light and monitor may manipulate the color ...).Cheers,Frank
Rick, you managed to keep the streaks in areas, where a huge amount of paint is removed. I tried it, but get quickly an uniform area.Cheers,Frank
Moving along nicely Amigo !!Ed
Looking at the two Rick there are clearly tonal differences (but bear in mind Frank's comments), but I think that both are very good. I suspect that in reality different aircraft did look slightly different because paints would have varied and the people painting the streaking would have had different patterns too. So in brief: both get my vote! (And if I ever build a Fokker in the future I know who to send it to for painting!!)Stephen.
They look fantastic. The streaking is very beautiful.
Nice job on the streaking, Rick.
Now that is nicely done Rick Terri
RAGIII,The streaking looks great. I'm wondering whether you found using acrylics easier, harder or the same just different, than the oil paints you have used in the past? Thanks, Kevin
Beautiful colours! That streaking is really impressive./Fredrik
