Thanks guys  :)

A little help is required to get a snug fit - still needed a minor amount of filler along the joins....

Preparing the wings etc....

Fuselage upper panel is a nice fit. Does require some filler where the cockpit padding meets though unsuprisingly....

I noted that the rudder post was a little bit of a lose fit in its mounting hole so I added a short piece of styrene tube....

.. which gives a much more secure fitment....

And dry fitted to the fuselage....

Wow. What a great work.
First model of the Junkers in this forum and you have already set the mark really high for the upcoming builds.

Hang on! You bought this on Saturday? This is not at all fair...!

But, seriously, amazing work - the engine looks great as does everything else. What scheme will you present?

Cheers

Have to agree with Alistair. Quick and extraordinary work all around. I Love the engine details!

Coming along very nicely Gary. The engine is superb; can you elaborate on the plugs and wires......... materials/parts used etc.? To this day I still struggle with that step, and yours are beautifully done.
Cheers,
Lance

Thanks guys. Much appreciated.

@ aliluke. Going for the plain metal finish.

@ Icarroll. I used brass tube for the spark plugs and .010 lead wire for the leads.

Wow, The engine looks just beautiful, and you're doing a great job of putting it together so cleanly!

Great work so far and thanks for the heads up on the rudder.  Hoping to start mine tomorrow, pushing all other projects aside to do it. Seeing what you have done so quickly is inspiring.
And thanks for sharing.
