Return to the fold
« on: April 04, 2018, 02:51:22 PM »
Hi guys, new and old.

Returning to the fold as they say, the black sheep of Kent.  Lost my Mojo a long while back for more than modelling. Hope to be a more productive member again from now on...

Keith,
Welcome back!  Though...  I haven't been here long myself.  Only built two WWI models as an adult.  Built a couple as a kid, but no rigging.  No weathering.  I find the fun in WWI is trying to make plastic look like leather and wood.  Then there is alignment...  never a strong point.

Keith,
Wonderful start to my day seeing your post here, your candor and superb knowledge of "all things Albatros" have been sorely missed! Although as with most of us Photobucket has prevented you bringing your photos along hopefully that old oak stump has, like you, survived and new photos of your projects will follow.
   Welcome back :)
Cheers,
Lance

Heya guys thanks for the warm welcome home. It is much appreciated I can tell you. Great to see so many old faces still here too.

Manni believe it or not I've recently began work on the old Junkers again and got her a little closer to complete.  With the D.1 on preorder.  Albatrossen abound I  resisted the trilogy until it wa sold out but when it was rumoured Weta still had a few I succumbed.  Now have 5 Albies in boxes and a brace in the hangar of shame.

Good to be back an will post once I find a decent replacement for PB.
