The tail booms look great with those wrappings and pulleys.  It is a large airframe.  I saw two at the US IPMS Nats last week, it's a real jewel of a model and yours is coming along nicely.

Hello everyone!

I managed to get some more time in on the Fee......decals....some weathering and got the prop painted, decalled and “varnished. I tried to replicate some oil streaks on the blades...

Good afternoon gentlemen,

A little more progress. I rigged up the upper control cable for the upper alerion. Made the tensioning springs out of copper wire.

Great work on (IMHO) the best WNW kit. The tailbooms, the propeller, the cables details... Wow.

Hello everyone,

I spent the weekend working on the tail section. I finished all the flight wires for it. All that is left is the control wires which will be added after the tail is attached to the wings and cockpit.

I'd say that was a well spent weekend. I really like how that came out.

Great photos. They look like a 1/1 scale aircraft being re-built in a restoration shop.

Nice work so far.  Your attention to detail on the aileron control horn rigging is noteworthy as it enhances and draws attention to that area of the model.  That's a lot of eye competition with the tail boom.  A real Charlette's web but looks great.  I have this kit and have for years.  Saw one finished at the IPMS US NATS in Phoenix and was wowed by it.  As Richard Alexander called it:  "A real Jewel."  Yours is going to be a real gem.  Looking forward to seeing your progress through the build.

what Radarman said, with the caveat that i wonder where they got those barrels of Tamiya paint.
