I think adding texture will be a great idea!

Evening everyone!!

Well all 76 wrappings are finished on the tail booms. I also made new pulleys and added some bolts to where the struts end.

I used fine EZ Line to do the wrapping

The wrapping is a very nice extra touch, wish I'd done that to mine. You are really adding some nice detail to this Build, keep those updates coming! :)
Cheers,
Lance

Thank you all!

I wasn't happy with the kit decals. They were to 2d.

That wrapping is a great idea....

looked at a photo of a flying 1:1 scale one (the NZ bird) and even at what would be 1/48 on my screen it looks 3d.

Great job with the extra detailing you are adding to this kit.  The tail booms look terrific.

Outstanding micro-detailing.  You must have infinite patience to do this.

Afternoon all,

Sorry for the absence. Life has been pretty busy as of late. Having said that..I have managed to get some work done on the FE.2b. I have the “woodwork” paint finished on the cockpit. Also got the tail boom painted as well. I’ll post pics of the boom later maybe after i get the rigging and final assembly finished before I mate it to the wings and cockpit/wing section.

I still need to add the internal rigging and small details before closing up the cockpit section.
