Many thanks for your generous and supportive comments, Bob, Rick, Smith, Stephen, Terri and Frank, they are a great encouragement to me!

Last night I added a few last details so my Camel is ready for painting.

Cheers

To see what the master of the micro-scale produces is a real treat. I would really like to see thse models for real as they are truly miniature works of art.

The RAF Museum has just uploaded this image it states is of Barker's personal marking from this specific Camel.

Reportedly he cut the fabric from each side of the tailplane and gave one each to his ground crew as a souvenir.

Dave, this piece of history is in the Grahame White Hanger @ RAF Hendon  ;)
Looks real nice, but why it's not in one of the museums in Canada is beyond me.

Many thanks to all of you for your generous comments, dear friends!

I keep working on last details before I start painting, today I experimented with the nail lines on the wooden panels. Most probably they will not be visible at the end of the day, so rather just for the feeling. :)

Cheers

Incredible work, Ondra.  When finished with this jewel, you could wear that on a chain around your neck!

Many thanks for your generous feedback, gentlemen, it is highly appreciated!

I keep working on last bits and pieces before painting. Today I made the machine guns and dry fitted them in the cockpit - so far so good. One of them is slightly longer, but this should be easy to fix.

I also turned the little cone covering the propeller hub, on the photo it is held in place by a little drop of white glue.

Cheers

This is on a similar level to those guys that carve statues out of matches. Simply astounding work, reading though this has put
a great big happy modeller smile on my face. Seriously, wow!!!!!
