Spectacular, Ondra!  You never cease to amaze me!  And here I am struggling with the detail on a 1/32 scale engine. :-[
Cheers,
Bud

Very impressive. Do you work with special magnifying glasses? Very brilliant.

That is simply incredible. The symmetry and detail is mind blowing. I usually work in 1/72 scale and could not scratch build an engine as good as that.... Very many congratulations on your skill and patience.

Very nice work and a clever solution to use a thread for the pushrods! 8)

Many thanks to all of you for your nice comments, I am really glad to be back in this great community!

I had to change my plans for this weekend, originally I intended to mask the wing ribs, but the rigging in the wing centre made my change the schedule. On the 13th attempt I achieved a result which is sort of acceptable, nevertheless I will keep thinking about a better method to achieve better results.

Cheers

Ondra,
Those wires look great from my point of view! I only hope I can get my rigging in the 1/32nd scale Nieuport center section to look as good  8)

"result which is sort of acceptable....Think of a better method" If that is only sort of acceptable, I cannot think what wholly acceptable will look like!! Can it really get any better than that? I had enough problems on my gunbus which is hugely larger than anything which you attempt.

Many thanks for your nice supportive comments, Rick, Stephen and Giuseppe! They are highly appreciated.

Last weekend I finaly found some time for the workbench again, so I started working on the propeller. The centre section will require some more filing, but the shape seems to be quite ok.

I had to spend some time experimenting with how to create the undercarriage. I only had evergreen profiles, so I needed to find a way to give them the right shape.

I used red marker and painted both sides, afterwards I took a sharp scalpel blade and started scratching off the edges. Thanks to the red marker I was able to keep good overview about the amount of material removed.

The rest was easy, I used my drawing as a template:

On which I afterwards glued the profiles cut to the required shape with CA:

And glued them together with Tamiya extra thin to weld the joints.

In the next step I will remove the CA with debonder which will loosen the parts from the paper. This is pretty much the same method I used for the interior construction.

Cheers

Ondra

Many thanks for your nice comment, Rick, it is highly appreciated!

I started working on the panel lines, most of them came out well, I only need to rework 3. :)

I also scribed the ailerons, except for the one on the left side of the upper wing they look ok.

Cheers

Ondra
