The inner bay has been rigged. Need to paint the wires then add the bracing between the interplane struts.

I am due to be away for a few days so I just dropped by to see if any progress has been made. I suspect that when I return this one will be finished - and in your growing collection of mini-masterpieces. Good luck.

Stephen.

Thanks Andreas. The Dolphin is not a graceful aircraft but it does kind of grow on you. This scheme is one of a few that are more than just plain old PC10.

Thanks as always Stephen. As for being completed I am getting closer I am attaching another update The rigging is complete with the exception of a few control surface lines and horns. Touching up the rigging exit holes is underway

Thanks for looking in and commenting Gaz! The ailerons are now attached to the lower wings, rigging lines are painted steel, Lower wing roundels are on, ( with NO Issues), etc. Speaking of the roundels I tried something unheard of I used room temp. water instead of hot or warm water. The roundels took a few seconds longer to come off of the backing but didn't tear and actually adhered tp the detail better. Could be dumb luck but I think I will try this when I build my Camel  :-X

Just been back through your log Rick. Wonderful building and the result looks really great. I'm still at odds with the look of the Dolphin as an aircraft but you've made a beauty of one.

Cheers,
Alistair

Thanks Alistair. I appreciate the comment. As for the "Look" of the Dolphin as an aircraft she may be ungainly but does grow on you  8) Performance wise one of the best in the war by all accounts.

Sure looks like a nice, clean build.  Are you planning on some weathering?

Thanks for the positive comment. As for weathering I have already done some oil dot stuff on the wings just hard to tell from the glossy finish and my photography/ I will add just a bit during the final finishing stage.

The last update for this build log. I have completed the rigging. Now just a bit of weathering and a couple of small touch ups and parts to add.
