  Andrew,
I do appreciate the work you've done rigging with RB RAF Wires. I'm afraid they'd be far too fiddy for me to pull off correctly. As others have mentioned they do certainly look great. Keep up your outstanding progress my friend.

Some pictures of the closed fuselage (the colurs of the pictures are a little bit off... I should work with manual settings of the white balance the next time ....)

The tail boom is also going on

And finally a picture of the propeller. It still needs some retouches, a gloss coat and the hub must be painted

Now I have to paint the fuselage, install the engine and then I can start the wings assembly.

Hi!

I've painted the fuselage.
I've decided to paint the black and white stripe on the nose,
the wingnut decal is very good but I it's too perfect .
The masking was easy and I think that the final look is better.

I've started the weathering but there's some little work to do.
(the engine and the wings are not glued yet, I put them in place only for the pictures).

I'll post some updates during the week.

Very fine work, Andrew.  The painted stripe does look better.

Very well done from the interior to the exterior. I really like your engine and the wood grain on the engine mounts.

Hi Andi;

We all feel like this when we see some of the builds on the forum, but we look and learn and hopefully we incorporate some of the good points in our own builds and that way we improve ourselves, but if you are not sure just ask, all the guys on here will help with their methods and that way help us all improve.

Cheers

Pete.

You have sand my friend, to tackle this kit for just your second WWI model. And with such spectacular results to boot. It's looking spectacular.

Cheers,

Chris

Hello Andi:  I have to echo the sentiments of the others here.  Don't feel inadequate, just feel part of something and go for it.  Lots of good build logs here to reference and lots of helpful folks.

Andrew S.  Outstanding work to date.  As Chris Mentioned, lots of sand to tackle this one for only your second WWI kit, but; why not.

Best

Mark

Hi!

Allright, the madness is going on  ::)

I've attached the engine to the fuselage and added some wires. Now I've only to weather a little bit the carburetors and I'll be ready to attach the wings.

I've built a couple of turnbuckles... they are very small!!!
