    Really coming along nicely; I like the results you got with the etched "stitching" by adding the edge strips first, looks exactly like the real thing! I went through a lot of effort to hand stitch them and the results aren't half as good as this. Nice work!

The Tom's Modelworks stitching is more convincing than the Academy etch that came with the kit

A Nieuport high wing monoplane!



I have glazed the upper wing, looks like the glazing is lifting on the port side!



That windscreen is all wrong, it should wrap around more. More annoying is that the Vee support for the upper wing should align with the back edge. I should have cut more out of the rear of the wing. Future builders take note

Looking great to my eyes  I know to a scratch builder the strut being off by a Micron is bothering you but to the average modeler it isn't noticeable. I checked a bunch of Nieuport photos and the windscreen as offered is seen on many, Mostly if not all British, 17 and 23 aircraft. So that being said, I know you will sort this out for your outstanding build.

Yes, when looking for rigging pictures I found that flat screen. I think N1177 had the aluminium framed screen, the model isn't getting one

The rear Vee support (which in pictures looks to be a tubular steel fabrication) has a sort of forked end that carries the back of the upper wings:

So the Vee has to sit right at the back of the wing. My model has it around three inches too far forward
