I finally got caught too... Just grabbed another DFW C. V, I think I'll convert this to an early production example from 1916 without prop spinner... So no decals from the kit needed except for crosses...

They seem to be adding kits to the sale list.  There is an FE.2b late on the list this morning.  There was an FE.2b early as well a few minutes ago.

Just bought an AEG Early. Fingers crossed it's not too badly broken. If so it'll end up as a "prop" in a planned dio...  :)

Looks like the late Rumpler is gone. Late Fee (da dum dum TISH) is still there, plus DH.9s DFW mid, and AEGs.

Mercifully I expect they'll sell out by payday, unless WNW are holding some back to ambush my bank account...

And Pheon have some really nice decals for the DH9s. (And Snipes, if they were selling those).

My three kits just shipped, I'll report on the condition when they arrive (within 5 days)

After spending today at home looking after my son who has the flu, I just got a knock on the door from the postman who has delivered the 'damaged' kit I bought.

After close inspection of the kit I can confirm there is nothing wrong with any of the plastic parts or decals. What damage there is seems to be just to the box which is a bit squashed, though isn't really that bad. In fact, the only thing that might justify a discount is that the instruction booklet is missing from the kit, though since this is downloadable, it is really no big deal.

There was even a little surprise waiting on top of the box for me (see photos)!

Thanks WNW, you have made me a very happy customer.
Woof!

I am a recipient of the Post War Ninak.

Box contents complete and in perfect condition.
No 'water damage' to anything, not even the box. If there is anything it would be a slight rolling of one corner of the box but even that is smaller than 5mm.

What they have done is mark the box 'WD' and slice a razor through it to stop people reselling at full price. But for a builder it is perfect

My "water damaged" DH9a also arrived today.

Only damage was as Marcus noted on his kit!

Contents, including decals and instruction booklet are perfect.

AND a SE5/SE5a Squadrons booklet was also included.

This was a $29 kit plus $10 postage.

Considering the booklet is $28, WNW have provided me with an excellent kit for virtually $1.

Gotta be happy with that!  :)

As another happy customer I popped off a thank you email to Richard, but refrained from suggesting future "water sports"

in the WNW warehouse are enthusiastically encouraged!  ;D

Great news, gentlemen. It seems that my ordered Rumpler and AEG, both late, when they arrive (next week hopefully), will be in fine condition, too. Fingers crossed!
