That's just beautiful, Rick.  Really subtle wood work too.  Makes the markings really pop!

Dan

Thanks Dan!

Wow Rick! This is very beautiful modelling! The subtle but convincing wood effects and neat markings make this come alive! I'm really enjoying this... Regards, Marc

I have made a bit of progress on the Jasta 11 DV. I used Bobs Strippers to pre shade the wing tapes and then applied the lower surface Cookie Cutter Lozenge from Aviattic. These are the Best Fitting of the Cookie Cutters to date... They get Better and Better! I also did some interior work. A few touch ups and the controls still need to be done.

Going well, the colorful parts will look very good when assembled.

Thanks for commenting. I may have been a bit conservative on my pre shading so might need to go back and do some post shading of the ribs. We shall see.

That interior is one to die for. The wings also look superb. Really Rick you set a standard which many of us struggle to achieve - and you seem to do ti with ease!

I love this Albatros. Especially the seat colors are very convincing as are the wings. It is really another great double that you are producing here, Rick. It is a joy to follow your progress.
Best regards

Thanks Stephen. The cockpit is pretty much OOB except for the seat which is after market.

I have had a pretty productive weekend. The interior on the DV is basically done. Just a bit of touch up here and there. I also finished applying the Lozenge to the wings ,upper surface, that is.

RAGIII

PS: I have used the Flugzeugwerke fuel tank. I added a paper backing to cover the hollow rear side that faced the cockpit.

PPS: I still have a bit to do to the left side  8)
