Gorgeous streaking, Guy!  Among the best I've seen.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks Juan, Des, Borsos & Bud!

And also thanks KiwiZac... I've seen pictures of completed models with the struts slightly out of line (with the top and bottom strut) when viewed from side on, and Dave (in Dubai) told me he had to modify his). But mine do seem to be ok- yet I really don't think Revell have changed the moulds? Bit of a mystery...

Just waiting for the streaking to properly dry before sealing as I'll have to mask up a lot of the surface for the markings.

Ah, I see. I have noticed my top wing has a higher angle of incidence but can live with it, hadn't paid attention to the wing struts. I'll take a look at mine and see if I've got the same thing going on. Mine's just a fun build too/stash clearer so I'm not too worried.

Nice model of a famous original, which today had its first flight a century ago! :)

Cheers,

Got to agree with the others re the streaking effect. That is something to be proud of - and to repeat!

Thanks all,

And HB to the Tripehound.

While waiting for the drying I've been fiddling with an unusual beast for me - a 4 engined behometh Japanese seaplane in 1/72 from the 60's ... I never do 1/72 or Japanese aircraft or old kits so I don't know what I was thinking of but bought on impulse in my local model shop and it's great fun!

But I will get back to the Tripe shortly - around a run of trips away at work.

What's going on - you've posted and I didn't get my latest fix on this project!

How dare you go and build aeroplanes just for fun - what do you think this is, a hobby???

Where are the pictures of this 1/72 Japanese abomination, I bet they are worth seeing
