That's looking really nice what you are doing! I am still thinking about using an 1/28 Revell Tripe to cut into pieces as background for my 75mm MvR(Vampire) figure, or buying a 1:24 Merit kit which is much more expensive. But I think I'll go with the old Revell now, seeing the pics of your progress.

Thanks Borsos, Juan & Bob
The main framework is done - jus some details to add - engine control quadrant and instruments and some bits & bobs. But a very enjoyable day messing about with scraps to make up detail - I think this is more fun than a posh kit!

Ooh, this is looking very good, Guy! It always was a quite buildable kit! I do like your additions to the interior, I will be taking notes! Regards, Marc

Guy, it is very encouraging to see what an experienced modeler could do with such an old and basic kit.

You re certainly making a great improvement over what comes in the box. Enjoy the build!

I remember building this very may years ago - but some of the parts seem to have been missing on reflection!! Your extra cockpit details are stunning - wonderful piece of scratch building there. A complete scratch build next?

Thank you all!
Just about finished the cockpit I think. Need to look at an ammunition box but it's all fairly generic tbh - just having fun making bits here and there. The seat belts came out of the spares box - 1/32 but look fine to me - as does the couple of instrument decals from Wingnuts.
Will have a look at the engine next...

You are doing absolute wonders with this old classic, Guy. She's already a beauty, and I'm anticipating another winner from your talented efforts.

Thanks chaps!
I've got the Fuse together and test fitting the wings and struts and I'm astounded by the fit! All clicks together without the merest hint of a gap... I'm sure someone will tell me it's the wrong dimensions here and there but looks good!
Amazing
