Magnificent work, as always, Des!  I'm so glad you decided to use the plastic kit engine.  It's as good as any aftermarket 1/48 scale resin engine I've seen.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks very much for looking in and leaving kind comments, they are much appreciated.

This photo shows the bottom wings just sitting in place, the locating lugs for the wings are superb and hold the wing very firmly.

I completed the instrument panel by painting as per the instructions then applying the decals. The decals for this panel are absolutely brilliant, even though very tiny they were easy to apply and pulled down beautifully, the graphics on these decals are second to none.

I have fitted the instrument panel to the cockpit coaming and glued the coaming to the fuselage, everything was a perfect fit and only needed a few strips of Tamiya tape to hold it in place while the glue dried.

Gorgeous update Des! I couldn`t agree more about the instrument panel decals - MeliusManu did the fantastic job. I have applied them already - superb!
Best regards

Truly superb work, Des!  I agree with your assessment of the fit and instrument decals.  This is the best kit I've built in ages.
Cheers,
Bud

Wow Des, superb job all-around.  The detail looks bigger than 1/48, a testament to your skills and CSM.

I have added the rigging to the front end of the fuselage, I used 0.12mm Modelkasten elastic thread, a brilliant product. I drilled small holes through the fuselage frames then inserted the thread securing it with CA. The third photo shows the rigging on both sides, the bottom and in front of the firewall. Once all the rigging was fitted I painted them with Mr Metal Color Stainless.
