Great stuff Rick!
With this "mojo seeker" done...what's next? :)

Robin

Thanks for your continued interest Robin! I am not quite done but shouls be by next week. I have parts spread all over My workbench for a JG71 Sabre Mk. 6 so that is where I will start. As for My usual habit of building two at once.....something WW1 is in order  8)

I am nearing the end of this build but I have encountered issues...of My own making. I was down to the point of weathering when I took this photo and noticed the right Nacelle had a sudden crack and depression not there previously. My thought is that I melted it while using a hair dryer on the wing roundels  :-[ So filled and will sand out and touch up paint.

Oops!  :(

Found my mojo and clipped it's wings, so it won't fly away.

Have to watch those hairdryers Rick,I cleverly warped a Tamiya Meteor fuselage trying to persuade its crappy decals with one.

This one is certainly testing your resilience, I'd say you were doing pretty well

Stick at it, nearly there!

Oh dear Rick - this really does seem to have a jinx on it. However I am certain that you will put the problem right in no time and that we will be presented with the finishhed model shortly. At least I hope that we will!

Such a beautiful aircraft.  Congratulations on such a fine result!
I hear that the HK kit even comes with a 1/144 version in the same box.  That alone would make it very tempting for me.  If only WNW would do the same!  A fellow can dream at least.   :P

Thanks Stephen! I have filled and sanded the Hair dryer damage and attached the canopies. I have done some Moderate weathering. I just need to do the touch up paint and a bit more weatherin g and it will be finished....I hope  ::)

Thanks for dropping in William..and for the kind comment. I really have become a Fan of the Meteor and wish someone would do an F8 in 1/32nd. I am even Tempted to get a few 1/48th kits, Tamiya and Airfix. Not sure yet but Maybe  :-\  Finally, yes a 1/144th F4 was included. Very basic but nice outline. I have it assembled OOB and painted silver. No decals were included which I find strange and frustrating!

This is a great looking result, Rick.  I'm looking forward to see the final results.
I also hope this build has helped you regain your motivation to continue building models.
