Ho Borsos,

I think you are missing the point about the lilac. It was a colour recorded by the French on some German aircraft during the 1915-16 period - not the later mauves/purples introduced to replace the red-brown.

Yes, having read your post on the French Connection, Now I am wiser  :). Still some doubts regarding just one source talking about lilac, but that might quite probably be the lethargy to question certain things that seemed to be sure for so long.

Sorry for the very late reply. Looking at your back ground info post, and seeing how you have introduced this to your model is really impressive. A very well built, and especially well painted replica!
