After showing many of my 148 models ...
You mention some stripped down models in 1/72 that you've soldered - that sounds truly daunting.
So especially for Nigel here are my first 1/72 soldered stripdown:
Fokker Dr.IIt was made from Eduards later re-edition kit containg some resin parts, e.g. the rotary engine. A complete Eduard Dr.I plastic kit is included but only some parts are needed. So the kit is really complete and can be done oob.
The panting was done with
Gunze,
Alclad and oils for the wood representation.
I want to build all six of this stripdowns (3 are done), but otherwise I like to stick at the 1/48 and stay away from smaller scales.
Cheers,
Frank
