RAF SE.5a Polish (1/32, Wingnut Wings + Roden)

The model of the only Polish SE.5a used in the fight. The aircraft was attached to 7th Kościuszko Squadron and made just one flight on July 15th, 1920, from Hołoby airfield. Cpt. Ciecierski was shot down and after a crash landing was taken prisoner, though later he managed to escape.
Wingnut Wings kit had the engine and radiator replaced with a modified and corrected Roden Viper. Some scratch details added in the cockpit and engine. Seatbelts from HGW, decals from Melius Manu.

She's truly magnificent, my old friend! As always, your paint work is second to none and those Melius Manu decals look fantastic! Congratulations on a truly unique work of art.
Cheers,
Bud

Love it. And the Polish markings fit perfectly.
Best wishes

That's just beautiful work Prze, and as Ian has said already, "up to your usual standards". I'll add to that "remarkably high standards"!

Thanks for the terrific build log - a joy to follow. And it is all crowned with this beautiful model - very spectacular indeed. Greta to see one in Polish markings too.
