Those cockpit interior shots look really good, This one is shaping up nicely - the paint finish on the cowling is super.

Nice detail work Terri, and I really like the silver on the cowling. Is it the Vallejo White Aluminum you mentioned earlier?
Cheers,
Lance

Thank-you guys for the kind comments . Halves are glued together and then it's putty and sanding time ...

Lance , yes and no . Yes I did use Vallejo's new metal cote range and I'm sad to say that no it's not the white alum . It is their polished alum spray right over bare plastic .

 Terri,
As always outstanding progress my old friend. Very impressive work on her interior and beautifully painted cowl. I believe I need to take a serious look at these new Vallejo metal cote line. Hopefully I can lay them down better than the Alclad paints. Keep up the high standards Terri.
Highest Regards,

Thanks Manni , hope you enjoy the build  :)

Gregory , they are very easy to use , as you can see the paint on the cowl . It has a more lustrous shine to it when their gloss black primer is used . I haven't tried any other brand of acrylic gloss black as the primer , but I will give Tamiya black a try and see what happens .
Have a look on their web site they have a bit of info on the metal cote and other products . I just started using Vallejo Model Air and I love it ! Takes a bit longer to dry then what Tamiya . But Vallejo Metal cote dries very fast . You can mask in ten minutes , but they do recommend waiting 24 hours for it to cure .

Looking great Terri :)

I think is the same model I made about 3 and a 1/2 years ago..  I rushed mine though, trying to take the "weekend" theme literally!

I have made progress . Fuselage halves a joined and puttying and sanding done . There is detail needed to dress up a few areas before the primer . Lower wing has been test fitted and I got a much better fit this time around on this build compared to the last one I did . Will have some pic's up this weekend .

Thanks guys for following along so far . :)
