Didn't get as far as I wanted to get . A set back on the lower wing . Once I had it glued in place and clapped it to dry overnight . It shifted a bit , she's not coming off and spending the time to cut it free will end in greater disaster . There is a gap between the chin pan and fire wall . Not sure I will fill this . Testing the cowl shows that it really won't be seen and is hidden so I will leave it at that .

Terri,
" Testing the cowl shows that it really won't be seen and is hidden so I will leave it at that"
I agree, leave it as is, it's completely hidden by the cowling on my 1:32 Scale Build. Looking very promising so far.
Cheers,
Lance

Thank-you Lance and Rick
Spent some time doing more sanding last night while I was watching Harry Potter . I polished the areas where I sanding for a smoother surface and I'm ready to shoot some primer and see how my filling and sanding jobs turned out . Also remembered to drill the eyelet holes for the rigging . I always miss this step and have to do it after painting .
I'm off to the bench !

Made a little progress over the weekend . Fuselage I sprayed using Vallejo's metal colours white alum along with the wings and wheels . The areas to be painted red and green are also done . Green is a little on the dark side , but doable . The gun deck and lower chin pan was sprayed alum .

Paintwork looks great Terri!
Is this the variant with the overpainting of the French roundels on the upper surface of the top wings?

Your painting is first class - just the right tones and super clean and smooth. Great work!
