As I stated the fuselage for the MvR Triplane is closed up, filled and sanded. I have also filled in the center space on the tail plane. The wings and tail are just sitting in place for the photo. The other photo shows the cleaned up resin parts for the Voss Triplane. Now back to the SE!

Very cool! You added plastic card on the stabilizer?

Thanks Andreas! I believe Justin has answered your question regarding the plastic in the tail.

Thanks for the comment Marc! The reason I post my builds is in the hope that someone out there will see something useful.

Manni

Thanks Manni. I assume you are asking which of the MvR schemes I will choose. I am not sure yet. I am still going back and forth between 425/17 and 152/17. The other triplane will be F1 103/17 in the Voss scheme as stated.

Yes, I got it. I had a look at my own kit afterwards and it looks really odd. Now I've seen how to fix that  :)

Manni,
One other thing I failed to mention is replacing the fuel pump on the right fuselage side, ( it wasn't used on any of the Fokker Rotary engine aircraft), with a simple copper pipe and valve as seen on this photo posted earlier.

The SE5a interior is now complete and the fuselage halves joined. I used stretched sprue for the control rigging for the rudder bar and stick. Because the rudder bar mounts to the lower wing and the stick and rest of the cockpit to the fuselage I had to try something a little different. I attached all of the assemblies to the right fuselage , positioned it on the wing, ran the rigging lines then managed to slide and press the left fuselage in place.... barely  8)
As of this post I have now added the upper fuselage/cockpit area and most of the panels.

Beautiful innards, Rick!  I hate it when I'm knee deep in a project and someone (you) comes along and tempts me with another.  I must remain strong and finish all current builds.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks Amigo. She is almost all buttoned up now after a lot of hours at the bench today. I forgot to mention I have been on another 10 day off vacation. Just 3 more left now. I hope to get at least 2 of them to the painting stage before it is over.

This is where I am with the SE as of this morning. I assembled and painted the engine OOB. I plan to close it all up so no need to add plug wires or any extras. That being said the potential is there for a super detailed beauty if one chooses to leave off the cowl panels. I have a few fit issues I will need to clean up. My fault no doubt as everything really lines up well. I was amazed that the pipes and fittings that hold the radiator on line up perfectly. The engine cover is just placed in position in the final shot.
