WNW Fokker D.VII (OAW) Willhelm Leusch my first diorama.
« on: August 08, 2016, 11:42:27 PM »
I'm OK I start my first diorama in my life.
The main character here is known, its history is described here.

http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=4540.0

Here will be presented the scene repair of that plane.
This is my idea of such a repair done on the basis of different pictures describing the repair of aircraft in WW I.
Last weekend I made a few details.
At the beginning I began carpentry work.  ;)

The result looks like this.

This morning at sunrise I took this picture.

You can see further progress.
Ladders I took from the box of Rolland C.II from WNW, is a bit of laziness from my side.  ???
There will be two Aviattics figurines, I bought them from a friend after he lost a few parts from the the carriage with the fuel pump.  :P
Stand engine will get the wheels.
You can already see two buckets and a funnel.
I hope that from this mess will emerge nice diorama.

Adam.

That is an excellent start - the extras are already adding to an excellent D VII. I am looking forward to seeing more of this one.

I bought them at the modeling exhibition  in Bytom, Poland.

Recently a lot of the time I spend away from home on business trips. I had little time to work on the diorama.
At the moment I made the wooden supports for plane and ladders.

The top of tali support.

All wooden parts got surface primer.

I started to paint them on a color wood.

I also wanted to give the screws from Taurusmodels. but here I gave up.  :-[

I also made the transport trolley.

And here are the screws Taurusmodels.  ;D

Almost ready.

It will also be the tool box and tools.

I started making figurines aircraft mechanics.

They have little odd proportions. Therefore, I plan to buy other figurines.

I started also plan to set the diorama.

Now again there is an interruption to the end of October, because I have a new business trips.  :(

Adam.

As Bud says, this is shaping up beautifully, Adam. I share your reservations about the figures.

Keep up the great work.

Best wishes
Nigel

Dittos, moving along well,  maybe shortening the necks will do it. ??

I'm no figure expert, but that's what I think.
