Hey, my friends!
One year has passed up to now.
First I have to thank you for your kind and welcome comments.
I decided to do a change on the diorama, because it will be much too big for transportation and for display at home.
So I ordered two canvas covered frames with printed clouds and sky on it to make it possible to show the planes in their "natural habit"

Here the result:

The Fe2b will follow soon.

That looks great Manni.  Where did you get the cloud prints?

Thank you, Bill and Richard,
thank you for your kind comments. :D
@Bill: The cloud print is done by an online print shop. I just searched via Google pictures a picture of clouds in very high resolution and let it print. Costs are around 20€.

hei Manni!
I like the effect very much! how did you hang the Fokker to the clouds? did you inserted a rod in the tail?
indeed seing a plane in the sky almost transforms it

Very nice indeed. Can you give us some information how to install the plane on the printed screen? Did you set up the canvas screen straight?
Best wishes

How do I keep missing this? That is a truly novel idea to mount the aircraft against a cloud background. Imagination used at its best! This will be a wonderful pair of models and set up in a unique way too.

Hello my friends,
now I will try to show you how I attached the planes to the clouds.
It is quiet simple.
First take a rod of brass 3mm outer diameter, that fits exact into a brass tube with 3mm inner diameter (cut the brass tube so long that it fits in the fuselage and extends 5 to 10 mm out of the fuselage). Then take a 0.7mm drill and drill a hole through both brass parts. The hole is needed to secure the plane later with the cloud picture by a thin wire.
Now take the assembled fuselage and glue the brass tube into the desired angle into the fuselage. I take 2 component glue for this purpose. But be careful most 2 component glues get hot! I nearly ruined the fuselage of the Fokker.

Here are some more photos of the Fokker:

and finaly the Fee:

That's it my friends. Time again for my abandoned W29.
