I have finally found some free time to get a bit done on this and post an update, it's very close to finished.
The main rigging has been completed using Maxima Chameleon 0.12 mm Mono and a mix of 1:48 GasPatch and Bob's Buckles. The Magic Third Hand proved an outstanding aid to the rigging process allowing any and all desired positions to be set with a twist of the main locking knob. You may wonder where the vertical stab has gone to; it got swiped clean off by my optivisor when I leaned over the model, it's since been re-installed!

Once the main wings were rigged the model was remounted on the Third Hand in the inverted position. I then completed and added the landing gear and rigged it as well:

That step was followed by finishing off the control wires to the elevators. The rudder and ailerons and their control cables are next on the agenda.

There will be some touch ups and small bits to do, as you can readily see in the photos the leading edges of the wings have been chipped over the work progression and some pin shading need be added to the landing gear bungees. I still need to add the coolant overflow line and vent to the upper wing as well. With rainy weather putting outdoor work on hold I hope to continue progress tomorrow.
Cheers,
Lance
