Morning (afternoon, evening) all,
Managed to get her finished, not without the usual self inflicted trials and tribulations

From 2 feet away, I'm quite pleased, but she's a little furry around the edges within that! Oh well, it's all a learning curve. I've got the Hannover lined up next, but you can only follow that if you haven't seen Bertl's Hannover thread

Overall, a very nice kit, I think the best I've built yet. She's fairly delicate to handle but only as Wingnuts have been true to scale on the struts etc. Nice to see the addition of wood decals and wired wheels (although I used neither!!) the wired wheels are very good, but of course don't compare to Steve's lovely custom made ones - I think that's why I didn't use them in the end.
Many thanks to Kornbeef who helped me out by sending me a new prop (lost mine

) and the individual exhausts (apologies Keith, but I ended up using the original one - I just preferred the look after all

)
She'll be appearing in 'Scale Aviation Modeller' in a future edition (as long as they don't use close ups!

)
Thanks for following,
Guy
