Thanks, Richard -since I have a supply of blue tapes and my previous D.VII had pink/mauve tapes, I'll go with light blue. The only picture I have is a 3/4 rear view of poor quality that is taken directly at eye-level since the aircraft is lying on it's belly after a hard (forced?) landing. Being Jasta 18 it's likely (according to the Pheon instructions) that the upper surfaces were red, so no help there either. So, I'll go with blue

Any ideas on the underwing-crosses?
The aircraft in question is this one:

Thick "square" type, or the later ones with narrow white borders, shortened arms or not... if nothing else, I could use what I got in the Roden OAW mid kit... The tail cross appears to have shortened arms, a clue perhaps...?
I checked the wnw decals for OAW early types, and they have Karl Thom's early OAW with thick crosses, so I guess I could go with those also -since my other D.VII is an Albatros late version, so there's a bit of a difference between them.
The joys of WWI modelling, I guess!
