Hi everybody
I start a new build
this is the PFALZ DIIIa by Wingnut Wings

here is the box

I take also the taurus model set

and I try the rigging turnbuckles and the seatbels by RB production

if I take the windsock datafile I see some ribs on the tailplane

but on the parts there is nothing

is WW missing something or not

I take this part from aviattic to make ribs

Moustique,
The Windsock Data File indicates that the stabilator was plywood/veneer covered like the fuselage and the elevator was fabric covered. I just did a quick check of the photos and between that Data File and two others on the DIII Version I can't find one photo that shows a rib or tape visible on the elevator. I built mine without for that reason. Hope this is of some help.

My all time favorite aircraft so you have my attention on this build .

No , there are no rib tapes on the control surfaces , WNW got it right with that . But they are short on the on the ribs themselves on the tail feathers by one . Read Ray Rimmels build review on this kit if you are able to get it . Full of useful tips and info . It's not very noticeable though .

Looking forward to following this project, Moustique! By the way, where did you find those rib tapes? I looked on both the Aviattic and Pheon sites and couldn't locate them.

if you follow the instructions the decals must be put down vertically to have the good scheme

my questions is
for covering the wing the decal must be cut in many sections?

is the cut must be done diagonally?
