You have begun what must be an extremely challenging build! Using all wood construction, filing and sanding to shape, my Hat is Off to you! Well done to date!

Talk about a challenge! This should be very interesting. I'm still not sure which planet Lloyd's designers were living on though!

 Pustota,
Challenging indeed my friend. I absolutely love these old school scratch builds using wood as your main material. From your photographs I assume the wing framework is brass. That's an excellent idea and should help preventing the warping of her wings. I mention this only because I've had several ply covered wings warp badly on me. Not enough reinforcement in the wing frames or failure to properly seal the frame against moisture and the covering ply will make trouble latter on. One of those useful tricks I picked up building balsa models years ago.

A special tip of the hat to you for choosing such an unusual subject to model and medium to build in as well. Your thread shows a great promise to be most interesting and informative my friend. I'm looking forward to following your progress and learning from you. Keep up the outstanding progress and a large stock of sandpaper handy.
Highest Regards,
Gregory Jouette

This looks like a truly challenging build.  Austro-Hungarian airplanes are some of the most curious, somewhat homely that were built.  That's why I like'em.

What an unusual looking aeroplane, and your approach to reproducing it in 1:72 scale will be quite a challenge. I tip my hat to you for using plywood for the construction of this model, I look forward to following along and seeing this project unfold.

Gobsmacked!!! Using wood is novel to say the least and a really interesting type too. I cannot offer any help with information unfortunately as I know even less about the type than you do. But I will be following this with great interest.
