Another superb release. Well done WNW  ;)

vB

P.S. anyone got a link to the wood decals?

Go to the 'Model Images' section ;)

;) I'm liking the look of those wood decals. Warm in tone with a tailors fit. Excellent.

Wow, this wasn't at all what I expected. This is awesome, I just ordered mine!

Wingnuts is sure being sneaky about this release though. I'm not interested in the Ninak so if it wasn't for you guys, I would have missed this. Why would they make you click on one model to lead you to another that can't be found elsewhere on their site? Now they are just playing with us to see how dedicated we are! ???

Presumably given the longevity of Albatros B.II production we'll see WNW complement this early version with later examples.

Well, it would not have been my choice but it does look very nice indeed and it is good to see something from the early war period. I'll get one n due course.

Best wishes
Nigel

Great start of the day! Just ordered Albatros B.II - it can be done in Polish post-war markings!

last years ago I saw this beauty in Krakow aviation museum for first time and then in Vienna shortly after that... remember that moment when I for split of second imagined how it was done by wnw... I guess It is better than I even imagined!!! ;)
Fantastic aircraft!!!!

Kraków museum has a late version  - B.IIa, some rearrangement of cooling system would be necessary to model it.

Lovely  ;D,

How on earth do they keep it so secret! Quite bizarrely marketed though - I knew it was there but still couldn't find it..

Definitely not a mainstream model..

I think it is brilliant -- a treat for the dedicated nuts whom they know will find it. (As we have.)

One way to find out in advance WNW release plan, would be contacting Zdenko Bugan and by some Chinese torture squeeze an info from him. He seems to be an appointed test builder for them...
Just kidding, no offence meant, Mr. Bugan, if you are reading this.

very very very very cool, this is a release after me own heart, (german/2 seats/wood/linen/early war/no prior 1/32 kit) which means it meets all my hopes for a wnw release. absolutely love it. and its added to the list of must have wnw kits.the only thing i find upsetting about this release is the b.ii means there wont be a c.i by wnw which is my favorite 2 seat albatros. the c.i was designed to be an armed replacement for the b.ii . they look the practically the same when viewed from a distance but a review of the plans shows slight size and dimensional differences.

I ordered the Albatros. If the Camel shows up soon I'll get that as well. One advantage of having grown sons and an understanding wife is that I have a little more "disposable income" than I used to. I acknowledged to myself long ago that when it comes to WNW, I'm helpless to resist :)

Nice kit, and i'll get one in due course as well, unless one shows up under the tree...
Nice touch with the separate PE nameplate too.

Hi.
Guess you've notice the Be2c "early" in the background. Next one out?
Since there is an Albatros BII Late in the making, I wouldn't be surprised they'd do the same with a Be2c late.
What'd'you think?
