Telford 2015
« on: October 27, 2015, 09:58:42 PM »
Hello All

Well, the annual IPMS Scale ModelWorld will soon be on us (7 and 8 November) and who knows what goodies we'll see. I'm planning to be there most of Saturday and for the first hour on Sunday.

Is anyone else planning to go there? It would be great if there was a chance to say hello.

Best wishes
Nigel

Hi Nigel - Aviattic and Pheon will be in Hall 1 - see you (and the good Lady Jackson?) there!

Regards, Richard

Hi Richard,

I look forward to seeing you all - and doing some spending. Yes, Ena will be at Telford with me.

Best wishes
Nigel

I'll be there all weekend, starting with set up on the Friday.

Should be on the IPMS Lancashire stand if you fancy dropping by.

Not long to go now...

Nick

I would love to be there but it's a long way from my place.

Bo, Lance

At the latest count there are 2384 forum members. A contribution of $1 from each and we have problem solved! But back in the real world, it would be great to see you both make it over to the show one year.

Best wishes
Nigel

Nigel,
Until last month I would have never believed I'd have a chance to meet my four "on line Buddies" from the Forum in Ottawa at a Model Show as we did, to say nothing of the time we spent together over three days. Anything is possible, and I'd certainly be one happy little model builder if Telford ever came to fruition!! :) I'm going to keep my fingers crossed, stranger things have happened. :o
Cheers,
Lance

Hi Nigel, Nick T,

I shall be there both days with the Norfolk Scale Model Group/Norfolk IPMS. I think we are in hall one. I'll look out for the Lancashire stand Nick - Nigel, if you or anyone else is passing the Norfolk stand just ask for Tug.

Regards - Tug

Wouldn't it be a blast if a bunch of us non-locals were able to make the journey. Dang.

Just think about it Michael, for fellows of our generation (I'm taking some licence by lumping myself in with several of you relatively younger fellas ;)) this could be payback for the British Invasion of the 60's! Along with a trip to NZ and a hop in a TVAL aircraft (dual but still....... :) :))) a few days in the "Big Smoke" and wandering about the Telford Show are items high on my "bucket List". As I said earlier, you just never know what yer gonna get! ;)
Cheers,
Lance

Well, Lance,

Let's start planning. We can get Lukas' bride to finance the trip. Telford, TVAL, and a stop off at Des and Adrienne's on the homeward leg.

I'm game!

PS What's the "Big Smoke"? Sounds like college in the 70s to me.....
