Thanks, Rick, Lukas and Patrick!  I think Aviattic will revolutionize the way we finish models.  It certainly has for me.  Sure, it's a bit more work than laying down a coat of paint, but the realistic results achieved are well worth the effort.

Bottom wing is on and Gaspatch turnbuckles are in place.


For reasons unknown to me or anyone else I've spoken to, the DFW C.V had turnbuckles at both ends of each wire, so I have to repeat this process on the top wing.

Dear Bud,
amazing construction,
but the DFW C.V did not have  turnbuckles at both ends of each wire.
A close look at the photos on site of WNW, shows that there not turnbuckles at the bottom of the wing near the fuselage (foto 1).
Turnbuckles of these wires are placed adjacent to the outer struts in upper wing.

Thanks, Rick!  I really had fun rigging this one.  I used A, B and C type Gaspatch turnbuckles with a combination of Technium monofilament and Modelkasten.
