   The damage at this late stage is very disappointing, I'm sure Sasho. On the brighter side your patience and considerable skills will quickly get this project back "on the rails"! She's a beauty already, and I'm really looking forward to seeing her completed.

Don't give up hope though Sasho I lost the pulley to my Fokker E.I and about 1 week later it turned up!

Also might be worth investing in a dust buster or other hand held vacuum, I got one and it has found pieces that I've dropped very quickly!

Hi guys,

thanks for the encouragement, I will definetely be fixing the undercarriage:) I got some more done during the last few days - got the guns attached, but not glued, I want them movable. Rigged the tail and it really starts to look fee-ish Started seriously thinking about a base right now. There is a lot of room for improvement in that department, I really  don't like my bases. This time will put some more nergy into it and hopefully get a better result. I wonder if I should use some stuff from the garden as there is a lot of moss right now, or get some artificial grass....but it looks...well...artificial and the moss looks more like moss, then like scale grass . I also restarted work on the Aviattic's Phelon&Moore bike, that is going to accompanie the Fe.2b and have to get some figures, think there was a crue loading the Fe.2b by Fusilier or Copeprstate maybe, I just can't remember and I will be looking to buy them.
I would like to hear your opinion on the following - the black-and-white  band on the nose is a bit uneven. SHould I repaint it or does it looks OK? Probably I have to repaint it
As usually any comments, questions, tips, recomendations or constructive criticism are most welcome!

Sasho - it looks truly superb despite your gut wrenching episode. You have a done brilliant job - a real inspirational model.


Re the lost piece - this tip (not mine) has worked well may times to defeat the 'carpet monster' - ask your wife for a pair of her old tights - just explain very carefully why you need them of course  Cut the foot off one about 2-300 mm long and slide over the end of the vacuum cleaner hose. Fix in place with a rubber(elastic  ) band and push the toe end into the end of the hose about 20-30mm. Proceed to vacuum very crook and cranny you can find taking a look occasionally inside the end of the tube - nine times out of ten you'll find your missing piece laying inside. Saved my bacon more times than I care to think about after some pretty exhaustive searches.

Congratulations on some really great work - just hope I can do mine the justice you have achieved

   That band on the nose looks fine to my eye. The photo on page 32 of the Plans Booklet indicates to me that it was uneven, slightly widened at the front. You've done a really exceptional job on this model, I hope mine turns out even half as well!

Thank you guys for the comments, I decided not to repaint the nascelle
The last days I have been working on the last missing parts - the repair and the propeller. The repair have been done, it is not that fine as the orifginal part, but looks good enough.
the propeller have been carved, glossed, a new hub have been created from the old one, some copper sheet and some bolt heads Unfortunately I can;t take a good enough picture of it. After taking those pictures I decide to darken it a bit, so I loaded some extra Gloss with few drops Hull Red and darkened it and it is curing at the momnt.
Next update will be of the finished aircraft! I identified the two bladed propeller as Boulton&Paul propeller as there is no iondication which is which, just the numbers of the decals....a mistake ofthen done by someone deep into the matter, that forgot that there aare people that are doesn't know the types of WWI propellers by heart

   Great final touches Sasho, a really beautiful job on this Model! After following your Build here I finally opened up mine and, inspired by your results, just started it two days ago, I'll be opening a Build Log here shortly.
   Very nice work from beginning to end, a model you can be very proud of!
