Yes, I know, I'm supposed to be working on the Hannover Cl.IIIa, but I needed to whip up something quick and easy to keep my enthusiasm from waning. As many of you know, I'm well into the Koster kit for the Old Kit GB and it's not a simple build. First vac I've done in over 20 years and, although a lot of fun, it's also been a lot of work. I'm also about to start the Copper State Nie. 6H for the Float Plane GB over on GWITA and it has some unusual contruction procedures and considerable scratch building involved. So, I've decided on alternating days to work on this little thing to keep it fun.
I'm building Eduard's excellent Nieuport 11 Profipack. Not much scratch building required and the fit is superb.

I've decided to go with the markings of the first aircraft assigned to Cpl. Gervais Raoul Lufbery when he reported to N124 as a replacement pilot in May, 1916. Although this aircraft has previously been depicted in a grey-green and brown two tone scheme, I've chosen to go with the revisionist rendition by Bob Pearson in Albatros Productions' excellent
Nieuport Flyers of the Lafayette by Jon Guttman.

Got most of the fuselage interior done rather quickly. Just a few more details to add.

The kit engine is really nice and pretty simple. all I added were plugs and wires.

Hopefully, I'll have her all closed up before the weekend's out. Thanks for looking in.
Cheers,
Bud
